Olivia has a master of arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida, one of the most prestigious accredited institutions in the country. She holds a license in mental health counseling from the State of Florida Department of Health.
Since graduating, she has continued to attend workshops and conferences to further expand her knowledge in areas such as grief, attachment disorders, sexual abuse and parenting.
Olivia has worked in community mental health for several years and has experience with individuals diagnosed with major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Additionally, Olivia has extensive experience working with grieving children and adults. She is the current president of the Collaborative for End of Life and Grief Education.
Olivia is also a member the American Mental Health Counselors Association and 5000 Friends, a group dedicated to promoting mental health awareness in the State of Florida.
Olivia has conducted presentations for grief and loss, stress management and canine-assisted therapy, and has volunteered for causes which benefit children, mental illness and breast cancer survivors.
